Consultation is by appointment only. Appointments may be made either by telephone in person at the reception desk. If you feel that your condition is serious and you need to be seen urgently at the surgery, please phone and tell the receptionist who will arrange for you to be seen as quickly as possible. Please do not request an urgent appointment if you do not really need it as you may be denying another patient whose need is greater. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible in order that they can assist you and signpost you to the most appropriate person for treatment.

We offer a range of appointments every morning and afternoon.   These can be booked in advance or on the day. We pre-book 30% of our doctor appointments so that patients who have to make special arrangements to attend can be accommodated.

We only pre-book up to a maximum of 2 weeks with the doctors because further than that patients forget. We do have a text messaging service which means we text reminders the day before the appointment is due. If you would like to take advantage of this service please give your mobile number to a member of staff. The rest of the appointments are held back for patients who phone and need an appointment that day.

All appointments with the Practice Nurse and the Health Care Assistant are pre-bookable.

Appointments with the Treatment Room Nurse in the clinic next door to our Practice can be made by telephoning 01355 233547.
